ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Part-Time/Full-Time Program is designed to cover all aspects of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, ranging from Fundamental Exploratory Data Analysis through Advance Neural Networks to Model Deployment on Cloud. Candidates spend several hours every day in the Actual Data Science office environment in full time program, dividing their time into a block of three hours for daily academic classes and remaining time in guided practical work under Lead Data Scientists. Similar happens in Part-Time Program, with half the efforts. After completing the program, all candidates can choose from a wide range of job opportunities.

The Curriculum​

The program curriculum is designed assuming no programming or mathematical background on the part of the candidate. Thus, the natural starting point is from the basics. The fundamental of Python and Stats enable Data Science education, and hence ultimately, all candidates get through the cutting-edge technology of Artificial Intelligence.

The In-office Work

All candidates will work as full-time interns at Sophos Knowledge Services, a Data Science Research and Consulting Company. The candidates will be trained in the data science office work, including data collection, cleaning, management documenting, and reporting. They will be part of National/International Real-Life projects. An excellent job on these might get them a Pre-Placement Offer from the client companies, besides the intern bonus benefits for all Sophos Knowledge Services interns.​

ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION

1. Academic background: You can apply if you have completed your graduation (or will complete the graduation before completing the program) in any stream after 2018.

2. Limitation of Gap: You should not have a break in Work/Academics for more than two years in total at the start of the program.

3. English proficiency: This program is conducted in English; hence you should be able to follow instructions in English.

4. Time commitment: It is a 12-month full-time program. You need to commit to the complete program during all working days. The curriculum is covered in first 6 months, followed by 6 months of real-world data science work.

5. Available to work after the program: The objectives of this program are learning and placement; hence you should be available to take a job after completing this program. You should be eligible to work in India and pass all necessary background checks.

The main thing we assess for in our enrolment process is the student's efforts during this program.

1. This is a Full-Time program based out of Indore, MP. Thus, you will have to reside close enough to commute for all working days.

2. You will require a laptop. Minimum Computer Hardware Specs - a) 1 GHz Processor b) 4 GB RAM c) 120 GB Hard Drive d) Microphone e) Webcam

3. Smartphone for appropriate communication.

The selection process is fairly simple. All candidates can go through the selection criteria check interview at the start of the process. The result will be declared during the interview itself. Also, a confirmation email will be sent to qualified candidates.

Job Guarantee

The Job Guarantee Agreement is a contract under which we agree to refund your complete tuition fee within six months of competition of all your Post Graduate Program requirements if you do not get a job within that period.

India is the second-largest source of data scientist jobs after the United States, with more than a lakh opening on LinkedIn and an average salary of ₹ 11 LPA in India (2022 data). We will try to get to cream jobs in the field, but we guarantee a minimum salary equal to your Program Fee. In our experience, a graduate of the PG program get salary upwards of 6 LPA.

You will be eligible for analytics profiles like data analyst, product analyst, business analyst, risk analyst etc. and various other Data science profiles related to your field of graduation/post-graduation.

If you are terminated from the job within 30 days from the start of the job, we will work with you towards landing a new job offer and you will still be covered in the Job Guarantee Program.

PROGRAM FEE

The registration fee will be deducted from the full and final fee payment at the start of the course for the selected candidates; thus, no refund will be necessary. If the selected candidates choose not to join the program, the registration fee will not be refunded.

The registration will be refunded in full for the candidates who are not selected for the program.

For the program batches starting in 2023, the fee for the Post Graduate Program is 2 Lakhs INR plus 18% GST for those attending the program online, where as the program fee for offline facilitation of the program shall be 2.20 Lakhs plus 18% GST. Please note this fee is inclusive of all fee heads, including admission, examination, and graduation fees. No other amount will be charged to the candidates.

Beside the Scholarship, there are two monitory aspects associated with the program:

1. We will facilitate students/personal loans for the curriculum fee in the name of the student/parent. Please ask about loan counselling while you contact TheCorrelation Admin/Learning Consultants.

2. As this program is an in-office curriculum program, the students can receive a bonus due to their excellent work at the offices, depending on their contribution to the projects.

If you decide that TheCorrelation is not the right choice for you within five days of starting the program, the full fee minus the registration amount will be refunded. If you decide to leave after that, the fee refunding calculation will be pro-rata. In either case, you lose the job protection guaranteed by the Job Guarantee Agreement.

Program Curriculum and Schedule

The certification program duration are 5 months, 10 months, and 15 months long, depending on your choice of levels. This is not inclusive of 1 month pre-requisite required for all candidates. If you cannot complete the course on time for any reason, then it can be extended on mutual discussion. Beside these academic sessions, candidate can choose to continue with a 6-month full time internship and receive a Post Graduate certification.

English. Since each batch includes students from all over India, we follow English as the only medium of instruction. You are expected to be proficient enough in English to understand the lectures and ask doubts. Although, there is a soft skill training aspect of the program which will help students excel with English communication as well.

Yes, sometimes, depending on the pace of the batch or your commitments, the program might get extended by a bit. In the end, we want to make sure that none of our students gets left behind. To ensure this, we sometimes have to take repeat lectures or slow down the pace of the batch

You will be evaluated on different parameters, which involves skills, aptitude, personal skills and many more. Scores and recommendations will be given by mentors who are industry experts from specific sectors.

Please do not consider them as examinations, they are constructed to help you recognize your weaker areas, so that you can work on excelling at those as well.

You will be given a chance to attempt it again and clear it.

Yes, there will be three major projects and other Industry relevant weekly projects and assignments associated with each skill. All of this beside the real-life work you will do within your data science team.

Yes, a minimum of 90% lecture and office attendance is required to complete this program. Attending classes and other sessions allows you to resolve all your doubts in real-time.

Yes, the curriculum and office work is conducted in both offline and online mode.
